100 YEARS OF GIRL GUIDES 10 April—13 June Brecknock Museum, along with Girlguiding Breconshire, is proud to present an exhibition celebrating 100 years of the Girl Guides. The exhibition displays a variety of Guiding, Brownies and Rainbows memorabilia spanning the decades, much of which has been kindly loaned or donated to us from local branches and individuals. The exhibition includes uniforms, photographs, personal effects and a reconstructed camping scene. This exhibition is a chance to celebrate 100 years of fun, adventure and friendship for girls of all ages. Brecknock Museum would like to thank Girlguiding Breconshire for all their help and advice, in particular Sue Thorne and Nicole Fletcher, and to Andrew Woodward for providing the camp scene. Thank you also to The Honourable Mrs Legge-Bourke for officially opening the exhibition. Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to the local community for their generosity in loaning or donating their personal Guiding memorabilia.

There is no sound quite like the stirring sound of a Welsh male voice choir, with the passion and hwyl that blends the choral tradition of the past with musical talent of the 21st century. St Mary's Church has presented a series of male voice choir concerts on Sunday evenings during the summer every year since 1989 - and this year is no exception.
